Almost 40, With the Skin to Prove It

There were two things I loved about myself as a teen. My stomach and my skin. When I had my first baby almost 20 years ago I fell out of love with my tummy, but my skin stayed nice.

In my late twenties, I noticed that the pores on my cheeks seemed larger. And I experienced an occasional break-out, more frequently than I ever had as a teenager.

Now, during my last year as a "thirty-something," I am noticing and experiencing all kinds of problems and issues I'd hoped I would never have to face.

My skin, which has always been sensitive, sometimes develops red patches. These are irritated by my previous products of choice, which even gave me hives!

And then there are the "expression lines" ( I still think I'm too young for wrinkles! ) that are popping up around my eyes, across my forehead, and around my mouth.

So, because I think there are plenty of other people, probably mostly women, but men too, with the same kind of issues, I decided I'd start doing some research and sharing it here.

I hope you find the research beneficial. And I hope you'll share your thoughts and insights with me as well. So that we can all keep loving our skin!
